Professional Assistance

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia founded three professional bodies for professional assistance in the area of GMO management. For professional support for ministries competent for decisions regarding GMO management, the Government founded two scientific committees, the Scientific committee for work with GMOs in contained use  and the Scientific committee for the deliberate release of GMOs into the environment and placing products on the market. For monitoring the state and development in the area of GMO management, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia founded the Commission for GMO Management.
