Inspection Services

Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for the Environment and Spatial Planning

 

In accordance with the horizontal Management of Genetically Modified Organisms Act (Official Gazette of the RS 23/2005 and 21/10), theInspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for the Environment and Spatial Planning is competent for the supervision of the implementation of work with GMOs in contained use, for the supervision of deliberate release of GMOs into the environment and placing on the market.

 

In accordance with the Decree implementing Regulation (EC) on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms (Official Gazette of the RS 72/2005), the Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for the Environment and Spatial Planning is competent for the inspection supervision of the implementation of provisions of the Regulation (EC) No 1946/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2003 on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms.

 

 

Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food

 

In accordance with the horizontal Management of Genetically Modified Organisms Act (Official Gazette of the RS 23/2005 and 21/10), theInspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food is competent for the supervision of seed the placing on the market.


The Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food is competent for the official supervision of the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms and amending Directive 2001/18/EC, and for the implementation of the penal provisions of the Decree implementing Regulation (EC) on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms(Official Gazette of the RS, No. 84/2005).

 

In accordance with the Decree implementing Regulation (EC) on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms (Official Gazette of the RS 72/2005), the Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food is competent for the inspection supervision of the implementation of provisions of the Regulation (EC) No 1946/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2003 on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms.

 

 

Health Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia

 
The Health Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia is competent for official supervision of the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms The Health Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia is competent for official supervision of the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms and amending Directive 2001/18/ECand for the implementation of penal provisions of the Decree implementing Regulation (EC) on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms(Official Gazette of the RS, No. 84/2005).

In accordance with the Decree implementing Regulation (EC) on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms (Official Gazette of the RS 72/2005), the Health Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia is competent for the inspection supervision of the implementation of provisions of theRegulation (EC) No 1946/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2003 on transboundary movements of genetically modified organisms in the field of FOOD ADITIVES.
